As a volunteer member, you'll play a vital role in our mission to support, advocate, and provide direct relief of shoes to organizations and schools in our city who work with children and youth in need of a good pair of shoes.
Responsibilities:
👟 Footwear Collection: Help us gather shoe donations from the public and our partners.
🌍 Community Outreach & Event Coordination: Assist in organizing and participating in footwear-raising events and community outreach efforts.
Shoe Distribution: Assist in organizing and participating in distributing shoes to children/youth in need in our city.
About You:
✨ Good interpersonal skills
✨ Proven track record of supporting others
✨ Strong organizational abilities
✨ Ability to handle multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines
✨ Excited to work with like-minded individuals passionate about youth empowerment
👉Some experience in a nonprofit or volunteer-run organization is required
👉Proficiency in Google Workplace or similar office tools is an asset
👉Bilingual in French and English is an asset
👉Access to a vehicle for shoe drop-offs and pickups required
